Madlene is the HR Manager at ChildFund, overseeing HR service delivery for the Gambia and Sierra Leone country offices. In this role, she works closely with Country Directors and Senior Management Teams to align HR strategies with country-specific plans and goals. She also collaborates with the Global HR Service team to ensure efficient delivery of HR services through the organization’s Global Shared Service framework.
Madlene holds a Bachelor’s in Business Studies and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources. With seven years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, she joined ChildFund in October 2017 as a Senior HR Officer for the Gambia Country Office. In 2019, she transitioned to the role of Global HR Specialist for the West Africa Region before taking on her current position.
Passionate about helping others, especially those less privileged, Madlene is driven by making a positive impact on people’s lives, regardless of background, age, race, or gender. She is also committed to continuous personal and professional development, always striving for growth in all aspects of her life.
