With over 20 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, Isatu is a dedicated advocate for children, women, and communities. She currently serves as the Programs & Sponsorship Director at ChildFund Sierra Leone, providing strategic leadership in program implementation, sponsorship management, grants acquisition, and advocacy.

In this role, Isatu has been instrumental in aligning ChildFund’s Country Strategic Plan with local partner strategies. She also plays a key role in sponsor relations, guiding acquisition strategies, and ensuring ongoing donor engagement. As a member of the Senior Management Team, she contributes to high-level decision-making to drive impactful programming.

Beyond program management, Isatu focuses on advocacy and partnerships, strengthening relationships with government agencies and NGOs to enhance program execution. She also actively engages in knowledge management, ensuring learning and best practices are documented and shared across teams.

Isatu holds a Master of Science in Rural Development and is deeply committed to safeguarding, ensuring that child protection and communities are centered in ChildFund’s work.
